@John - you shouldn't have to have time to learn and play with cloud computing - it should be as easy (or easier) than standard development, just on a much better platform.

We'd be happy to host a session on-site in our Data Centre and aside from just talking about Cloud Computing, we can show you a real platform. Of course in return we'd like to hear what web application developers REALLY want from their app hosting providers!

Conor,
Would be very interested in attending such an event. Personally I would be interested in hearing a mix of biz and tech (with more tech than biz). I have never done any cloud development but armed with my app engine account I am desperately looking for some time to learn and play.

We've a few presentations online - http://edbyrnehq.com/cloud-computing-the-evolution-of-internet-infrastructure/ - is the most recent one.

The API has been key for us, we'll be launching it soon, along with a new 'cloud' brand distinct from our 'regular' managed services offerings.

You guys have any screencasts etc on your cloud offering?

Make sure to let us know when the API goes live, that'll be very interesting to a lot of people!

Not ot mention www.hosting365.com - we've been running a 128 node, 1024 core, 4TB RAM cloud since last March 2007 and are about to deploy a second site with replication and a full API.
